Vaccination is the best way to protect people against New Influenza A (H1N1). Certain segments of the Dutch population have been vaccinated. These include those whith an increased risk for developing complications and those likely to transmit the virus to high-risk groups. The Dutch government has procured sufficient vaccine to vaccinate all residents of the Kingdom of the Netherlands if necessary.
